Not a day that passes by when there isn’t some new famous couple calling it quits.  It’s almost unlikely to keep pace with all the celebrity breakups and splits, but what surprises fans the most is hearing about these same famous partners trying love again. While celebrity couples appear to have fairytale relationships, many have had to overcome the degree of difficulty to arrive at where they are now.

Every now and then, celebrities have admitted that splitting up with their now-spouse was a mistake; others have defended the separation as a necessary and healthy step toward a more productive life. Giving things a second opportunity is sometimes worthwhile, but the third time may not be the charm. While some celebrity couples, such as Kate Middleton and Prince William, have shown that a break is vital to develop a relationship. Others, such as Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, should have done so the first time around. We’re going to take a glance at all the celebrity couples who’ve been on and off so much it’ll make you feel like you’re on a rollercoaster ride.

Prince William & Kate Middleton

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are the epitome of a happily married couple. They have grown their investments along with a family of five over the last ten years. Although it’s difficult to remember when Kate and William weren’t married, there was a period when their future was far from guaranteed.

According to Battle of Brothers, Prince William and Kate broke up over the phone in 2007. During an hour-long phone chat, Prince William, who was 25 at the time, dumped Kate. When he decided to terminate things, he said he was “uncertain” about their future together. It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time Prince William has broken up with Kate. In 2004, Prince William stated that they “were both quite young” and decided to end their relationship. Whatever reasons there might have been, the royal couple worked it out and are happy now.

John Legend & Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend is a pair that walks the line between relatable and absolute relationship goals. They’ve managed to keep it genuine with their jokes, supporting comments, and super-romantic banter throughout their life, the kids, and everything that goes down in Teigen’s social media feeds

Teigen and Legend met on the set of Legend’s Stereo music video. After the filming, the two returned to Legend’s hotel room and ate In-N-Out burgers. After meeting on Legend’s set, they kept in touch through texting and conversing on the phone regularly, which is what got Legend hooked. Their partnership, however, was not without its difficulties. Legend had a one-day break up with Teigen at one time. Legend proposed to Teigen in the Maldives during the Christmas vacation in 2011 after four years of dating and making time investments. They married on September 14, 2013, in—you guessed it—Lake Como, Italy.

 Justin Bieber & Hailey Baldwin

Who never imagined she was the future Mrs. Justin Bieber? Who’d have guessed that model Hailey Baldwin would be the lucky winner? Baldwin’s burgeoning teenage angst first surfaced at the tender age of 14 when her father, Steve Baldwin, introduced her to JB backstage at The Today Show. Just before his palm contacts Baldwin’s, sparks *not* fly as she hastily re-crosses her arms. Stephen strikes once more, allowing another JB-to-HB meeting to take place. Hailey attended the premiere of Bieber’s Never Say Never film with her father.

After Justin’s romance with Gomez ended, reports about his new relationship with Hailey began to circulate. They went on vacation together at the end of 2015, but between 2016 and 2018, Hailey and Justin’s relationship ended (and Justin infamously got back together with Gomez). However, in the middle of 2018, they rekindled their old romance and took their love to a greater degree. Justin proposed to Hailey during a private trip to the Bahamas, which she later described as “very special.”

Dax Shepard & Kristen Bell

All couples should be jealous of Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard’s romance. They’ve been wedded for seven years and have been together for 11 years, which is unusual in Hollywood. While destiny brought Bell and Shepard to be together, fans may be surprised to learn that they almost called off their wedding. Bell and Shepard broke up for a spell at the beginning of their relationship.

Bell met Shepard during a birthday dinner for producer Shauna Robertson in 2007. They both said that the connection between them was not present during their initial meeting. Things were different when they met again during a hockey game. After the game, they began texting each other and started dating soon after. They ended their relationship three months after because they were at different stages of their relationship. Bell and Shepard’s love story, thankfully, did not stop there. Shepard contacted Bell again a few days later to apologize for making a mistake. They have been candid with fans that love in real life is far from a fairytale, and to a certain degree, not real.

Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were rock-solid in a world where celebrity couples split up faster than a bullet. The pair met in 2007 and has been together for nearly a decade, except for a brief breakup. The two initially met at a birthday celebration Justin was throwing for one of his friends, but they didn’t fall in love at first sight, though. They met, began conversing, and Justin eventually obtained her phone number from a buddy so that he could call her.

Their romance became public not long after they met. However, Justin and Jessica ended their relationship in March 2011. The breakup didn’t last long, and they got back together by the summer of 2011. It’s unknown when the pair reconciled, but we can credit their deep love and that Justin was willing to take a significant level of faith over those few months.

Hilary Duff & Matthew Koma

The relationship of Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma is unique to some extent. The most striking is that there were multiple periods of separation on the way to engagement. And who hasn’t broken up with an ex in the hopes of reuniting with them at some point? Duff and Koma, on the other hand, have proven that happily-ever-after is entirely achievable.

Their love story began during Duff’s 2015 album Breathe In. Breathe Out. She made her first public appearance with Koma in January 2017 at the Chateau Marmont for Entertainment Weekly’s pre-SAG Awards party. Though they had a good time, it wasn’t all plain sailing, either. The pair reportedly split in March 2017. Although the actual reason for their split is unknown, some credit it to “busy schedules.” Fortunately, their breakup was short-lived. Fast forward to October 2017, and their relationship appeared to be on the mend. Duff and Koma were ecstatic to begin their future together after their reconciliation that they brought their daughter Banks into the world by October.

Adam Levine & Behati Prinsloo

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo’s relationship is perhaps one of the most successful in Hollywood. The couple has created massive investments and an adorable family together. If fans believe Levine’s bios, he appears to have had the perfect love story with Behati. However, looking back at headlines from the intervening years, it’s apparent that the tabloids picked up on something that some opted to censor.

Let’s take a move backward and remember how the two met. Adam and Behati met in 2012 after being introduced by “a mutual friend.” Adam was seeking a female who could perform some action in a music video. Even though Behati declined the job, she and Levine exchanged long emails before meeting in person. Adam and Behati started dating, and everything seemed to be going swimmingly for them. Or so we thought. The exact day of their split is unknown; however, it occurred in 2013. The lovebirds rushed to rekindle their love. They were engaged in July 2013 then married in July 2014. What a turn of events!

Carey Hart & Pink

Pink is known as the wicked girl of pop music. The singer rose to fame in the early 2000s, bridging the gap between adolescent music and punk rock. Pink’s career has seen her grow and develop, but one thing has stayed constant: candid songs about her relationships and how she’s feeling at every stage of life.

Pink and Carey Hart have been married for 11 years, but their love hasn’t been without its share of turbulence, as many marriages do. The couple has worked through their troubles and welcomed two children together, but they have split up twice during their time together. Pink and Hart were apart for almost 11 months before seeking counseling to iron out their differences. She sought reconciliation by giving him a scrapbook documenting their relationship, which included the unsigned separation papers. They worked hard and fought for their relationship. They give credit to this perseverance for having the most stable marriages in Hollywood.

Michael Phelps & Nicole Johnson

Third time’s the charm and to some extent, that’s how Michael Phelps’ love life goes. Phelps’ love for his fiancée, Nicole Johnson, proves that they were for each other. He promised himself that they would spend the rest of their lives together if they got back together. That’s what went on here. Nicole first met Michael at the 2007 ESPY Awards, where she worked as an athlete guide at the event. She and Michael discovered they had a lot in common and began dating soon after.

Due to Phelps’ swimming responsibilities and him having to make investments in the sport, it was difficult for the couple to sustain a relationship. The pair parted in late 2011, reconnected in early 2012, and then broke up again before the London Olympics. Phelps decided to try to reclaim Nicole in 2014. Nicole was, unfortunately, in a relationship at the time Michael sent his SMS. After a few weeks, she quit the relationship and gradually re-established contact with Michael.

Mila Kunis & Macaulay Culkin

Celebrity romances come and go all the time, but chances are you haven’t heard much (if at all) about Mila Kunis and Macaulay Culkin’s relationship. Yes, you read that correctly.Just like most of us, Kunis has a long dating history full of life lessons before becoming Ashton Kutcher’s wife. Mila and Macaulay maintained their 8-year romance a closely guarded secret, which is why so many people are unaware of their love story.

Mila was in LA, and Macaulay was in NYC, so they started long distance. Mila was beginning to earn praise for her performance in That 70s Show. In comparison, Macaulay was semi-retired from performing at the time. Remember he was the virtual home security system in Home Alone. Mila’s representative stated that Mila and Macaulay had dissolved their relationship in 2011, after ten years together. Since then, both have moved on with their lives and are no longer friends.

Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck were the hottest couple back in the days as both at the height of their careers. The paparazzi dubbed them as “Bennifer” in 2001, when they first stepped out together. Though the couple did get engaged, the media frenzy added to the already strained relationship. It was inevitable that they would split and move on to find love somewhere else.

But it seems that “Bennifer” is back with a vengeance as the two have been spotted having dinner and enjoying some R & R for the singer’s birthday on board a private yacht. And to make things official, the celebrant posted their shared kiss on her Instagram! Fans of the two are excited for this new chapter in their lives especially since both are doing great in their careers. For sure, their net worth is enough to cover their mortgage and any future plans of getting hitched.

Dave & Odette Annable

It’s alright, folks! Dave and Odette Annable are back together after nine months into their separation. Dave, who starred in Brothers & Sisters, tied the knot with Odette, who is known for her in work in Supergirl. The two have a daughter named Charlie Mae who is already 5 years old. However, after nine years into their marriage, they released a statement that they were separating, which shocked their fans.

Perhaps that time off has helped the two deal with their own personal issues. Dave admitted to having personal struggles, while Odette simply mentioned that she will be taking a break from social media to do some reflections in her life. To their credit, they remained focus on their daughter whom they co-parented during their break. The on-again married couple shared the same photo on their Instagram accounts with some playful banter on the comments section. Hopefully, these two make it in the long run!

Khloe Kardashian & Tristan Thompson

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have called it quits, but is it really the end? Ever since the two were spotted hanging out together in 2016, the couple’s relationship had plenty of its ups and downs. Everything was smooth sailing between the two, especially when they announced that they were pregnant. But the basketball star’s alleged cheating threw a wrench on their relationship.

They did patch up their relationship after the scandal since they now have a daughter to raise. Tristan had been repeatedly asking for forgiveness for his mistakes, making investments towards reconciliation, and it seems that Khloe has accepted it. However, things are far from being alright between the two, but it doesn’t mean that they are not on speaking terms. They have a friendly relationship but Thompson has to step up being a good father to their daughter before winning his woman back.

Ne-Yo & Crystal

The music icon, Ne-Yo, and his wife Crystal, were in the brink of finalizing their separation when the pandemic hit. The singer of Sexy Love gave credit to the sudden lockdown that forced him and his wife to iron out their differences. His wife, Crystal, admitted that she left her husband because of the issues that they were facing, not to mention hearing about Ne-Yo’s intention of separation through the media which hurt her more.

Though there were many uncomfortable conversations between the two, the time they spent together with their kids helped them realize the importance of their family. To show that they were serious about their marriage, the couple added a new member to their family. This is the third child of the couple, but the fifth for the singer who shares two children with her former flame, Monyetta Shaw.

Kelly Ripa & Mark Conseulos

All My Children stars, Kelly Ripa and Mark Conseulos, had fallen in love with one another on the set of the soap opera. The paparazzi spotted them hanging out together while shooting the show in Jamaica, thinking that it was proof that the two were an item. Little did everyone know that they had been dating for months prior to that. However, the two did split after a while, but the actor wooed her back.

The ending? The two eloped and tied the knot in Las Vegas. Though the two had plenty of investment money to splurge on their wedding, they decided to keep it between them. After all, they were the only ones involved in their relationship. It turned out to be true since they are now 24 years married and are still going strong and with three children between them. Theirs is one of the longest relationships in Hollywood.

Gigi Hadid & Zayn Malik

International model, Gigi Hadid, and former bandmate of One Direction, Zayn Malik were one of the hottest items when they were spotted hanging around. However, in 2018, they confirmed their split much to the dismay of their fans. But it seems that their split did not last long as they were spotted hanging out together a few months later. The two are very private about their relationship so it did come as a surprise when the couple welcomed a child last year.

The two are not yet engaged, but it seems that they are being serious about parenting their ten-month old baby. Hadid gave a candid interview on how the singer was faring with her family and it seems that he is able to find his place when everyone is gathered together. The best part? Their investments to one another has helped them become stronger during lockdown.

Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have one of the longest marriages in rock and roll history, and it seems that they are staying strong all these years. There were rumors about a split between them because of cheating allegations, but Ozzy’s manager and wife has put an end to it by stating that she knows how to forgive and does not need to call a lawyer. She further expounded that they have been together for 36 years and doesn’t know what she will do without her husband.

Does this mean that she isn’t bothered about the allegations? Sharon may have forgiven but she will not forget, but being a tough woman, she knows how to get back at her husband after joking that he will pay for it big time. They certainly know how to keep their marriage intact even when there are plenty of issues around them.

Rose Leslie & Kit Harrington

Those who have been hooked with the TV series, Game of Thrones, are sure to be familiar with the King of the North and Ygritte of the Free Folk, who were played by Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie. Their on-screen romance was reported to transition into real-life as they were spotted holding hands. But the two kept mum about their status. Whenever Harrington was asked about their relationship, he kept on saying that they were friends.

Though Leslie’s time in GOT was short-lived, and that she dated someone else, the connection between the two stars were strong. Those who have been rooting for them on the show were ecstatic about the news that they got hitched. Today, the couple are proud parents to a baby boy but they are yet to reveal him. Fortunately, mortgage payments will not be a problem especially since both are enjoying fruitful careers in the entertainment industry.

Gabrielle Union & Dwyane Wade

Hollywood actress, Gabrielle Union, and former NBA star, Dwyane Wade had a rocky start to their relationship. The two stuck to their guns even when Union was dragged to court by Wade’s ex-wife with attorneys in tow. Many were supportive of the two, but the pressures in their career, the media, and between them saw them splitting much to the dismay of their fans. Fortunately, their split lasted only a few months!

Wade proposed to Union in the sweetest manner involving his children which earned him her “Yes!”. The two tied the knot back in 2014 and they are still going strong to this day. The couple admitted that the brief split that they had helped them go into their relationship with a clear idea on what they were getting into. Fortunately, the efforts they put on their marriage has made them stronger over the years, especially with their growing family.

Cardi-B & Offset

Rappers Cardi-B and Offset’s relationship is not that smooth-sailing as they are an on-again then off-again throughout their time together. The two became an item back in 2017 and what a whirlwind romance it was that led them to tying the knot in secret even before Offset popped the question while he was on stage. However, with all the allegations of cheating, Cardi-B called it quits after three years of marriage.

But in 2020, they were back together and announced baby number two was on the way. The multi-awarded rapper and singer defended her choice to stick with her man even with all the allegations. It seems that they have laid down some pretty good marriage rules that both are following. Hopefully, their relationship will be more stable now. For sure, they are spoiling their children with their investment money as both have high net worth.

Kylie Jenner & Travis Scott

Reality star and beauty mogul, Kylie Jenner, and her husband, singer, Travis Scott, are back on track when it comes to their marriage. The two have recently stepped out with their daughter, Stormi, for an event. Though they have yet to confirm that they are on again, the photos that they have been posting on their social media accounts have been liked quite a lot of times already.

Their split was followed closely by paparazzi and their fans alike. While the couple were doing their own things, they made sure that they were co-parenting little Stormi. Sources who were close to the celebrities stated that things were doing well between the two. And, to their credit, their daughter is enjoying being the center of their attention. The business mogul and rapper’s combined net worth is enough to support their family for sure. We just need to know if things are doing well in their marriage.

Billy Porter & Adam Smith

Billy Porter and Adam Smith’s relationship is all couple goals! The two were introduced by a mutual friend and they seemed to hit it off. They did date for over a year before calling it quits until Porter admitted his feelings towards the co-owner of Native Ken. The two got back together and were soon engaged. Using the investment money that they had set aside, they were married just 16 days of their being engaged.

The couple admitted that growing up in households that their gender was looked down on was hard. But in the end, love won! Porter has recently made headlines when he revealed that he was HIV positive but was under medication. His husband is negative and remained ever supportive of his partner. They are both fighting the stigma that comes with this disease and it does seem to be that they are winning.

Nico Tortorella & Bethany C. Meyers

The marriage between Nico Tortorella and Bethany C. Meyers is quite unconventional to say the least. They first met one another back in college and the connection was undeniable. They did go out as boyfriend and girlfriend, but went out with other people too. Recently, they have identified themselves as nonbinary and prefer to use the pronouns they/them. The evolution of their relationship was revealed in Tortorella’s book, Space Between.

Though the two are still exploring what their sexuality is and how it affects their relationship, they give each other credit for being sympathetic to each other. The two did tie the knot, but are not confined to a normal marriage. Instead, they have an open relationship with communication as their key into evolving over the years. They recently celebrated their one-year anniversary and it seems that they are getting the hang of it.

Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green

The relationship between the Transfomers star, Megan Fox, and Hope & Faith alum, Brian Austin Green was like a roller coaster full of ups and downs. Aside from their thirteen-year age gap, Fox convinced the actor that she has more to offer. The two first got engaged in 2006, but called off their nuptials in 2009. But they did exchange “I dos” in 2010. However, after their second child was born, they called it quits but only for a couple of months until they announced that they were having a third child.

However, things between the two have been rocky lately as Green was spotted without his wedding ring in 2020. The actor confirmed later on that they were finished, but remained amicable even after their separation. Fox is currently linked to Machine Gun Kelly whom she co-starred in an indie film while Green remains mum about his current status. The two are still using their investments to raise their children and are trying to co-parent them well.

Liam Hemsworth & Miley Cyrus

The chemistry between Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus on the set of The Last Song was undeniable. This is why it was not surprising to see them hooking up for real after the shoot. The couple got engaged in 2012 but called it quits the following year. The two did reconcile with the actor admitting that having explored more of their lives separately, they were able to get back to the right place.

During the course of their relationship, one of their investments, a real estate property, was burned down because of the wildfire. After a few months, they tied the knot in an intimate wedding in Cyrus’ home in Tennessee. However, their marriage did not last as the couple eventually split in 2019. Neither is talking about what led to their separation even though reporters kept questioning them about it. Hopefully, these two find true love along the way.

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones

Despite facing tribulations throughout their relationship, it seems that Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have maintained a long-lasting relationship. They first began their relationship back in 1998. Just a year later, they tied the knot in one of the most extravagant and expensive wedding celebrations of all time at the Plaza Hotel in New York which pretty much required a hefty investment to pull off. Together, they have two children.

Despite their relationship went off to a great start and being stable for nearly 13 years since their big day, they called it quits by 2013, with their representative stating that they were ‘taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage’. It seemed they did so, as, by April 2014, the couple reunited after months of being separated. They faced another trial in 2018 when Douglas was embroiled in controversy. Fortunately, the couple managed to hold on to their bond.

Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid

Despite not being married yet, Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid might as well be. They were first confirmed to be dating back in September of 2013, with singer Ed Sheeran given credit for making their first meeting possible. They went public in January of 2014 and just five months later, announced their engagement. Despite going off to a good start, it seemed they hit a massive roadblock, as they called off their engagement by November of 2015 and called it quits.

Four months later, in March of 2016, they managed to reconcile, which made many happy. Since then, they have maintained a good relationship, despite being long-distance for most of the time and in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, which saw many celebrity breakups. Rumors of their engagement and perhaps, having children, have constantly shadowed over them since their reunion in 2016.

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler had seen some ups and downs throughout their 10-year long relationship. They first met in 2009 and already, their relationship nearly never took off. Fortunately, by the next year, the couple started dating. Just a year later in 2011, they got engaged but then broke up just three months later. By October of the same year, they got back together. In June of 2013, they finally tied the knot. Together, the couple shared three children.

Despite going off to a rocky start, it seemed that the couple was set for life. However, by 2020, the couple was beset by troubles, in particular, infidelity rumors surrounding Cutler. By April of that year, they called it quits via Instagram. To make it official, Cavallari removed the word ‘wife’ from her Instagram bio. Both of them, through their lawyers, have sought joint custody of their three children.

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen

Many were quite thrilled when Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen started dating in 2007. They first met on the set of their movie Jumper on that year. By December of 2008, they got engaged. It seemed that things went quite really fast for the two of them. However, they called off their engagement in 2010. They said that problems with their long-distance relationship were the reason. Fortunately, they managed to reconcile just three months later. A major moment in their lives happened when they welcomed their child, daughter Briar Rose, in 2014.

Despite not being married, it seemed that the couple is madly in love with each other and has made a great degree of effort to remain together. Despite this, the long-distance nature of their relationship proved to be a debilitating factor. In 2017, after nearly 10 years of being together, they called it quits. Today, Christensen and Bilson have gone on their separate ways but still ensure that their daughter is given love and care.

Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman

Many people have assumed that Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman could manage to hold on to their relationship after nearly 50 years of being together. They first met way back in 1971 when Perlman and her friend were watching DeVito’s single theatrical performance. Two weeks after that, they moved in together. In 1982, they tied the knot. Together, they have three children: Lucy, Grace, and Jacob. Having different religious beliefs, they raised their children without giving them any religious identity.

Throughout the years, the couple has maintained their relationship quite well and has made a good investment in ensuring that any cracks can be fixed. However, rumors about tension within their relationship lingered in the 2000s, and by October of 2012, they got separated. Fortunately, they reunited by March 2013. However, they separated yet again in 2017 on good terms. Despite being separated, Perlman has said that there are no intentions of dissolving their marriage.

Nick and Vanessa Lachey

Nick and Vanessa Lachey have seen challenges throughout their relationship. They first met in the early 2000s on MTV’s Total Request Live. However, they only started dating in 2006, when Vanessa starred in Nick’s music video for What’s Left of Me. They went public in 2007 with an on-air kiss during MTV’s New Year’s Eve program. Despite going off to a good start, they called it quits by June of 2009. However, they managed to reconcile and reunited by August of that year.

In November of 2010, they got engaged and in July of 2011, tied the knot on Sir Richard Branson’s private island on the Caribbean. Since then, they have added three members to their family: Phoenix, Camden, and Brooklyn, and soon they might have to make mortgage payments for a bigger home! Despite having some disputes and troubles since they tied the knot, they managed to remain together for nearly a decade now.

Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus

Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus may have been together for a long time but their relationship hasn’t been anything but stable. They first met in the early 1990s when Billy Ray was still married to his then-wife, Cindy Smith. After he called it quits to Smith during that time, Billy Ray became romantically involved with Tish. They tied the knot in secret in 1993, against the wishes of Billy Ray’s record label. In their early years, they welcomed three kids to their family: Miley, Braison, and Noah.

Despite a good early start, their relationship hit several roadblocks in the 2010s. In October of 2010, Billy Ray called to be separated from his wife. By next year, he asked his lawyer to drop the filing. In 2013, this time, Tish called to be separated. By July of that year, the couple was in therapy and the filing was de facto dropped. However, it was only officially expunged in 2017. Today, the couple has made an effort via therapy to ensure the bond of their relationship remains unbreakable.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom

It seems that the relationship of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom has been one heck of a rollercoaster ride. They first started taking a liking to each other in January 2016 during the Golden Globes. By May of that year, they were pretty much dating but made an investment to avoid being photographed together. However, by August of that year, a series of photos of the two of them pretty much made their relationship public. In October 2016, they dressed together in Halloween costumes.

Despite having a good start, they called it quits by March 2017, only to reunite six months later. By February 2018, they made their reunion official. In September of that year, they went public with a red-carpet debut in Monaco. Since then, they have been officially engaged since February 2019, with no exact date for their wedding. They now have a child, daughter Daisy, with Bloom having a son from his previous relationship with Miranda Kerr.

Chance The Rapper and Kristen Corley

Chance the Rapper and Kristen Corley have seen massive ups and downs throughout their relationship. They first met way back in 2003 but only began dating a decade later, in 2013. Although, Chance claimed he dated Corley for ‘years and years and years’. Two years in, they welcomed their first child, daughter Kensli. However, they broke up in February of 2016, with Corley and her lawyer filing for sole custody of their daughter and declaring Chance is Kensli’s father. By March 2017, however, Chance and Corley managed to reconcile.

In 2018, Chance proposed to Corley, which she greatly accepted. In March 2019, they tied the knot at a resort in California. Prior to that, they had a civil wedding in December of 2018. Since then, the couple has welcomed another kid, daughter Marli, into the family in August 2019. The couple and their kids have remained firmly bonded.

Patrick Dempsey and Jillian Frank

While many thought Patrick Dempsey was still single when he played Derek Shepherd in Grey’s Anatomy, he was already married to celebrity makeup artist Jillian Frank for years. They first met back in 1994, when both were just up and coming in their respective careers, and started dating. Five years later, they wedded and since their union, their careers took off. Throughout the 2000s, they welcomed three kids into their family:  daughter Tallula Faye and twins Sullivan and Darby.

Despite a stable relationship, it fell apart in January 2015 when Frank and her attorney filed to be separated. In it, Frank sought joint custody of their children, along with child support and alimony. By November 2016, though, the couple reconciled and remained tightly bonded since. To affirm their love, they went back to their wedding venue in 2018 to celebrate 19 years of being together.

Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson

Perhaps one of the most high-profile marriages of the 2000s, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey were the centers of attention at the time. They first met back in 1999 at the Hollywood Christmas Parade. By January 2000, they were dating and started collaborating on one of Simpson’s songs. Despite this, they hit a roadblock in April 2001 when they called it quits. However, in September of that year, they got back together. In February 2002, they got engaged and in October, tied the knot in Simpson’s native Texas. 350 guests and an array of cameras witnessed their union.

All was going well for the two, with Simpson saying that she thought she and Lachey would ‘last forever’. However, by 2005, cracks began to show when rumors about Simpson’s infidelity began to circulate. By November of that year, the rumors became official as both called it quits for good, with Lachey and his lawyer successfully managed to let Simpson pay in compensation.

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick

Like how her sister’s relationships became high-profile, the same can be said about Kourtney Kardashian’s relationship with Scott Disick. They first met at a party in Mexico back in 2006. They became known to the public as a couple when Keeping Up with the Kardashians made its debut back in October 2007.
